Well here we are at Friday once again. My horrifically busy and hellish week is now at a close. Before I get to my Friday Five, a very special shout out. My baby girl is 9 years old today!! You can bet she got more birthday hugs and snuggles than she could bear. Happy birthday beautiful!!!
Oh that face just kills me inside!!! I could hug her forever. She'd let me, too.
Ok, well my gushy love aside for a minute, here's the Friday Five!!
1) How well do you handle the sight of blood?
Yeesh. For the most part, not well. I definitely get queasy and faint. I've only actually fainted once from just the sight of blood. But I definitely avoid it. I'd make the worlds worst nurse.
2) How well do you handle bumpy plane rides?
Did you ever see that famous episode of the Twilight Zone with William Shatner and the gremlin on the wing? Yeah. That's about accurate.
3) How well do you handle spicy food?
Usually pretty well. Depends on if we're talking yummy, tasty spicy or that spicy that has no actual flavor and only exists to make your nose bleed. The former, I love and seek out. (I have a 2 liter of Tabasco at home.) The latter, there's no point so I don't waste my time. I don't want spicy just for the novelty of it. I like spicy with flavor. Oh I could DRINK buffalo sauce by the glassful. Mmmmmm. Dang it, now I want wings.
4) How well do you handle (or think you could handle) yourself in fisticuffs?
Well as theonlyboyfriend puts it; I'm like a chihuahua. I don't seem to realize just how tiny I am and when I get angry, I may feel like I'm a linebacker with fists like cement blocks, but I'm really a little yappy dog that just looks silly. So, I guess I like to THINK I could handle a fight, but odds are I'd just get stepped on.
5) How well do you handle a chef's knife?
Well I still have all 10 fingers. So, not bad I guess! I'm a terrible cook though. I can barely make toast. But I do make a mean lemon pepper chicken!
Well that's about it for my Friday post. I hope everyone is well, and has a wonderful weekend!! Go get some chicken wings!!
