A Fight We Can All Win

Greetings!  A very special post today for all of you.  A request of sorts.

This August I will be riding in the Pelotonia here in Central Ohio.  For those of you who have not heard of this, Pelotonia is an organization of corporate partners that organize a bike ride for 25-180 miles over a span of 2 days.  Since the corporate partners fund everything and we, the riders, do the bulk of the fundraising, EVERY SINGLE PENNY of donations raised goes to cancer research.  That’s right, no overhead costs or administrative fees are covered from donations.

I am riding this year in memory of Sharon Hemmeler, a woman very near and dear to me and to my family.  Sadly, Sharon lost her battle with breast cancer in March of 2008.  She is greatly missed but her spirit lives with us now and for her I will do all I can to raise awareness and fight for a cure!

Please, please take a moment to view my member page at the Pelotonia site.  And look around the website to learn all about the mission of this great partnership.  You can make a donation right on my page!  You will receive an email receipt for tax purposes as well.  If everyone just pitched in $30 a huge difference can be made!  Donations or ANY size are accepted and welcomed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I sincerely hope you will help me in this battle to fight cancer!

Here is the link to my page for donations and information.  Thank you all so very much!!!
