I missed my Friday Five. I don't know what my deal is but I have been beyond tired this week. I took a half day off work yesterday and took a pretty heavy nap. Same with today after sleeping in 2 hours!! Ugh. I just cannot wake up.
Theonlybrother has been in the hospital most of this week for more heart related problems. For those of you who do not know my brother he had some heart attacks and quadruple bypass surgery at the age of 26. He's older now, but is having more problems again. He had to have an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Device) implanted yesterday. He's recovering well though and can lead a normal life after a VERY short recovery period. Much less invasive than the open heart surgery for sure.
Anyway enough of that. Since I missed Friday Five I'm going to do Saturday Six for you!! A very sleepy Saturday Six. This list seemed appropriate given my tired state of late.
1. What do you wear to bed?
Wouldn't YOU like to know. *wink* Actually it's usually sweat pants and an old t-shirt. Sorry to ruin that illusion for you, but it's as far from sexy as I can get. Heh. In face the t-shirts usually have holes and sweat stains on them. Oh yeah.
2. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
Looking from the foot of the bed, the right. Unless I'm sleeping alone, then I kinda shift to the middle. I'm pretty OCD in my sleep to and can't sleep on the left now. It's weird.
3. Are you a back, side or stomach sleeper?
Side and/or stomach. Little of both there. I've tried and I just can NOT sleep on my back. I get headaches when I do. No idea why but I do. Bleh.
4. How many layers of bedding are on your bed?
If you count the fitted sheet; 3. Fitted sheet, flat sheet and comforter. Sometimes in the winter I'll pull my quilt onto the bed too. But usually not. I'm a sweaty hot sleeper. Gross, I know.
5. Are you a bed hog or blanket thief?
No, but someone ELSE is. *Looks accusingly over at theonlyboyfriend.* As I mentioned above I'm OCD even in my sleep. I finally figured out a few years ago how (if I'm sleeping alone) I wake up and the covers are perfectly flat and undisturbed, around me. Apparently when I roll over I lift up the sheets, roll over and then lay them back down again. Sometimes I even smooth them out in my sleep. I'm not well. Theonlyboyfriend....I don't know WHAT he does in his sleep but the blankets end up in a WAD. How the heck do they get into a ball? Ugh.
6. How much sleep is enough? Too much?
I usually do fine on 6 hours. Much more than 8 and I get a headache and feel sick all day. So I try to avoid sleeping in too much. Although here lately I've been sleeping like a champ.
Ok, well that's about it for my list. I hope everyone is enjoying the LOVELY weather here this weekend!! Oh it's perfect here today. Nice and cool and a gentle breeze. So lovely!! Much love to you!!
