Chillin' like a villain!
1) Where did you hang out with friends when you were a teen?
Well, pretty much just at friends' houses. I didn't really do a lot of "hanging out" in high school. I didn't have a lot of friends and was busy with theatre really. (nothing changes)
2) Where did you hang out with friends when you were in your twenties?
Well in college I spent an ungodly amount of time in the campus coffee house. And at one of the fraternities (once my BF at the time joined SAE). And of course the dorm rooms of the cooler kids. After college....bars and apartments really. Nothing all that exciting.
3) Where do you hang out with your friends now?
Heh. Bars. Nah, not really. That's died down considerably. If I'm not at the theatre, I'm at a stitch group. I guess I do most of my hanging out at home, but when I'm not at home it's usually a coffee house or bar. (I swear I'm not an alcoholic!!)
4) What great hanging-out memories do you have?
Probably the years between 2006 and 2008 spending pretty much every free moment of my life with the MadLab folks. (my theatre group) Vodkathons and many a night of karaoke and laughter and ribbing on each other and tons of stories to share of shows and shows past.
5) What ingredient makes hanging out better sometimes than others?
Trust. (I bet you were waiting for me to say booze) Without trust there is nothing else really. I know I woulnd't enjoy a night of hanging out with someone I don't trust. I've done it, I'll still do it, but it's just not the same as being in a room full of people that you would trust your life with.
Hope everyone gets some good hangin' out in this weekend.
