Wednesday WIPs

It's Wednesday WIP time again.  Because I know you're all just eager and waiting with bated breath to see what I do in my spare time.  :P

Ok, the Crocus Bud Shawl.  I've actually gotten some more done on this.  I'm about 2/3s done with the first skein.  (I'm using two, so that means I'm getting kind of near to halfway)  Here's a closeup shot:

I just love this design.  It's so simple, but looks really complex.

Fall Scarf.  Didn't really work on this a lot in the last week, but did get a bit more done.  I think I'm nearing the end of this one:

And another charity scarf for Bridge and Beyond was started yesterday.  (I don't think I posted the last one I made a couple days ago)  This is #2:

Nothing terribly exciting, just a combination of some simple stitches.  But it's super warm and that's the whole point.

Also, I went to one of my stitch groups last night and ran into someone that goes to the other stitch group I go to.  (We're all melding together)  She was showing off some yarn that she dyed herself.  It was truly lovely work.  She said it would be perfect for the bird decorations I made and offered me a small hank of it!

Ta-Da!  Super colorful, so it's just perfect for the birds!  So I will likely crank a couple of those out this week as well.

That's it thankfully.  Lord knows I have a couple other projects in mind but my WIPs will get out of control too quickly, so I need to focus on the charity scarves this month and then I can be more selfish with my hooks.  :)

Happy mid-week!
