We took an impromptu trip to Yellow Springs last night for dinner. Seems odd to drive an hour for food, but we just love that town so dang much and just needed an evening away from home. (Seemed even odder since I’m going right back out there on Sunday for the Wool Gathering.)
Anyway we made the trip out and found nearly the entire town was yarn bombed!!! It was getting dark so I only got one good photo:
This one was felt and yarn. It was so super cool to see all the telephone poles, stop signs, benches…all covered in beautiful yarn!
Naturally we got dinner at HaHa Pizza, and as always it was amazing. We walked around a bit, although Yellow Springs after dark has a bit of a different vibe. But it was still nice to walk off dinner and enjoy the weather. All in all it was a great night for a spur-of-the-moment trip.
