Crocheting my fingers off

I’ve had some large projects in the works for awhile now.  I finished one over the weekend and am nearing the end of another.  As always, when I get close to the end I get too excited and crochet faster and my stitches get tighter.  Then my wrists start to hurt and I have to lay off hooking for a day.  It’s a never ending cycle of shooting myself in the foot.  Or wrist. 

Anyway, I completed the latest installment in my line of original filet designs of “offensive doilies.”  Here is a censored photo of the finished product:

The next one is started!

Hopefully in a couple days my circle jacket will be done and I can get back onto my drapey rainbow wrapigan.
