Sunday chillin'

I'm putting off the long list of things I wanted to get done today.  Although the main thong on my list was a long nap and THAT is done.  :)

I ran a 5k with my parents yesterday morning.  I posted some photos on my Facebook page.  Even with all my griping and hating running I ran the whole thing and made a decent time.  Not my best, not my worst.  My dad won 3rd place in his age division!  I came in near last in mine, heh.  Mom and I had some setbacks during training with illness and injuries, so we were very slow.  Next year.....

We closed our show at the theatre last night to an oversold crowd.  We brought in like 15 extra seats.  THAT was a great way to close an amazing show.

As previously stated I got my nap in, then met Bren for an early dinner.  Then we spent some quality time enjoying the amazing weather today sitting the front porch with our laptops.  Heh, could we be more yuppie today?  He got called off to tend to more Technical Director duties at the theatre, so now I'm going to get into that to-do list.  First big project of the night; sorting my crochet items and putting price tags on things for the fair this coming weekend.  MAN that snuck up on me!  I can't believe it's less than a week away!!  (info here:  www.craftsgonewild.net)

Oh yeah, did I mention Brendan was appointed the new Technical Director of MadLab Theatre and Gallery?  Well he was.  *big grins*  That's my boy.

That's about all for me I guess.  Just trying to enjoy my favorite seasons as much as I can while we have it.  Hope all is well with everyone else!!

  1. Lots of big good news for you! Hope to make it to the craft show tomorrow. I dream of running a 5k. My running program starts off smoothly every spring then, the first day the temps go over 80, I say, "Nope. Not going out to run in that heat." and it's all over for another year. LOL!

  2. Yeah, that's part of the reason my time was so bad. I didn't run once all summer. Too hot!!
