Well my very first craft show went off very well. I took some photos, but I cannot post them just yet. (My laptop seems to have exploded and I'm on a borrowed computer. I'll figure something out, fear not faithful readers!!)
It was also the first craft show for this festival, Crafts Gone Wild. (www.craftsgonewild.net) A few other vendors were new as well. But the day over all was a success. The patrons seems to have a great time and loved the vendors and the festival as a whole. Everyone all day was all smiles.
I sold more than I had expected and only brought about half my product with me! And only set yet half of that out. Sheesh! That was my first lesson I learned for next time. I really do have enough stuff to rent a WHOLE table instead of half. Heh.
I wasn't sure going in to this if I'd ever do a show again, but I know now I definitely will! I had so much fun. My big worry was that my stuff looked too amateur or was not good enough. And no, I'm no professional by any means, but I received many compliments that showed me my things are nice enough to sell.
Thanks to everyone who came by to support and say hello! It really warmed my heart to see folks there. Now, off to update my website and remove the things sold!! :)
