Long weekend

I realized it's been a bit since I've posted.  I guess I should update, huh?  Anyhoo, here's my long weekend.

I took Friday off to rest up for my horribly busy weekend.  Ended up doing a lot of work and not resting much, bleh.  Friday evening I had rehearsal from 6-8.  Then had to change and doll myself up in about 10 minutes and fly like mad up to this fundraiser thingy where I was to perform.  It started at 7, but I let them know it would be 8 or so before I got there.  It was really nice though.  It was for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  One of those $125 per ticket events that old rich women hang out at.  They had a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme, and I was asked to play Holly Golightly.  * sigh *  a dream come true for me.  I have this amazing vintage black dress that belonged to my Grandma Smith that is VERY Holly.  :)  Did up my hair and all.  It was fun.  I walked around in character, sipping blue martinis and eating free gourmet food.  After this event I scuttled back downtown for a surprise birthday party for a good friend.  I showed up about 2 and a hald hours after the start of that party, in an evening gown.  Heh.

Saturday was Volatility, our annual all day fundraiser concert event for MadLab.  I had to be there at 9AM to help set up.  Luckily I didn't have to work a shift until 4, so I had time to run home and nap for about an hour and change and go back.  Stayed until about 10, but the event went until 1AM then tear down.  A lot of folks were there until almost 3.

Sunday had to get up to teach Sunday School at 9, then church, then an education committee meeting for the Sunday School teachers.  Then back to the theatre to work on tear down and setting the theatre back into it's normal configuration for our next shows.  Then went home and cleaned my dirty apartment and headed off to yet another meeting at 6:30 for theatre that went for a couple hours.  Then.... good old fashioned porch sittin with Bren and some beers.

Whew, am I missing anything?  Not too awful, but definitely busy.  Made plenty of time for sleeping, but I'm not sleeping super well here lately anyway.  I'm sure once my next show is up and running I'll be able to relax a little more.  I hope anyway.

That's about it in my world right now, I guess.
